Enhance Sports Performance

Whether you are a beginner athlete or an elite competitor, you participate in a strength or endurance sport, therapeutic massage has many benefits. It can decrease muscle stiffness and fatigue, increase range of motion, and improve soft tissue function. Treatments can be periodized to compliment your training cycles and tailored to fit with your pre and post season training schedule.

Orthopedic Injury or Surgery

Therapeutic massage can be used as part of your treatment protocol for a wide variety of injuries and conditions. It can improve circulation to injured tissues, improve soft tissue function and increase range of motion. Plantar fascitis, ITB syndrome, lower back pain, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, neck pain, osteoarthritis and scoliosis are just some examples.

Therapeutic massage can help reduce post operative swelling, stiffness, scar tissue, and pain. It can also promote tissue healing after trauma. Rotator cuff repair, total shoulder replacement, knee meniscus surgery and hip bursitis surgery are just some examples.

If you are currently under the care of a Physician or Physical Therapist for your condition please obtain permission from them for you to receive therapeutic massage for that condition.

Pain Relief

Are you a “desk athlete” with chronic lower back, shoulder and neck tension? Or maybe your job is physically demanding and you are on your feet all day. Does your work involve repetitive motions or lifting heavy things? Whatever your profession therapeutic massage can reduce soft tissue restrictions, improve range of motion, reduce pain and the feeling of tension. Although this type of massage is clinical and rehab oriented, it can leave you feeling relaxed, de-stressed and ready to take on the day.
